For the Christmas, my sister gave our granddaughter, Sailee, a pretty new dress. As the kids now go to kindergarden either in sweat pants or jeans, the opportunity of putting on a proper dress is not that often. But, on the other hand, they grow so fast, in no time, they will out grow their clothes.
My daughter and I were determined to put the dress on her and took some photographs. She loved it so much and keep on saying, pretty, pretty.
But, for some reasons, she refused to keep steady to let me photograph her and I had to chase after her all over the house. To see more entries of ABC Wednesday click here

Thank you for your visit to my Wall of Stories. Yes Europeans have done a lot of harm in the world. In Australia the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd had spoken the big "Sorry"a few years ago. Sorry for the "Stolen Generation",( the children with a white father and Aboriginal mother who were taken away from their mothers, never to see them again). This was one of the many crimes committed to the indigenous people. The man who created the Wall, Roy McIver, was treated as a slave. He is married to a white woman and they are the most gentil and wisest people I know. Hopefully life is getting better, but there will always be racism.

How precious. I loved when we finally had granddaughters so I could buy pretty dresses. My 2 sons both gave me girls and now I can fulfill my dreams.
Sailee has what I called a "twirly" dress when I was little. I was never still in it. Think you captured her very well anyway.
Sailee is one of the most beautiful children I have ever seen in my life. When I first clicked over and saw her picture it took my breath away. WOW! She is pure loveliness! I would love to take her pictures! That dress is adorable as can be!

Well, I know you would have preferred to that she had kept still for the photograph, but I like the action! Any parent knows that a child at this age NEVER keeps still!
