Skywatch Friday No. 50: Cape Cod Bay

A long fisherman walking out toward Cape Cod Bay. He had to walk through miles of sand flat before he reached the water. He also had better watched out when the tide turned that he would not get stranded on the beach.

This suits my mood perfectly. A long walk by myself on a beautiful beach.

I really like this photo! It reminds me of a pic I took of my dad at Great Sand Dunes NP years ago, just him in a sea of sand, all alone.

Such beaches are attractive but can be very dangerous in Australia.
Thanks for your comment on Chambord. In the DVD it says that there will always be renovations on the castle, as it is almost 500 years old. The stone works are very brittle here and there. It's good that it's kept in good repair both inside and outside. So the balloon was used for taking aerial photos. Thanks.
