Today's Flowers #44: Beach Roses

Beach roses can be seen all over on the beaches of Cape Cod. They are very vigorous growers, expand by seeding and by sending out ramblers. They protect beaches from tide and wind erosions.

Beaches roses usually come in two colors: white and pink, and are very fragrant. These two are from our own garden.
